Tips for natural bristles
A few drops of natural will do the trick. Just dilute in water and rub the bristles with your fingers. DO NOT SOAK your brushes and rinse with lukewarm water only – this will prevent degrading the glue and loosening the bristles. Once you have rinsed, reshape your brush and lay the brush flat to dry.
Tips for sponges
. Vinegar is a very powerful natural cleaner and disinfectant. Mix one part water and two parts vinegar in a small bowl and then swirl your brushes in the mixture for a minute. Be sure to only rinse the bristles of your tool. Rinse with lukewarm water and lay flat to dry.
Tips for synthetic brushes
For synthetic bristles you can use – or a combination of all three products. Pour one or more of them into a bowl and push the brushes across the bottom to clean. Swipe the excess cleaner on a paper towel and repeat. Rinse with lukewarm tap water and lay flat to dry.
For all brushes
Apply a mixture of lukewarm water and witch hazel directly on to the bristles or sponge, squeeze the water out and let the witch hazel set for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with distilled water and let dry.
